Galápagos – Ecuador
A bus will pass to pick you up at the hotel lobby at approximately 6:30 am to transfer you to the Itabaca Canal dock to board the yacht that will take us on our journey to Bartolomé. After approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes of navigation, we will arrive at Bartolomé. Once in Bartolomé, we will have to climb a staircase to the Bartolomé viewpoint and from the summit, you will be able to appreciate a spectacular landscape of two beautiful bays and fascinating lava formations and volcanic cones. Here is the famous Pinnacle Rock. This is a huge black lava formation that has eroded over time and is the most representative image of the archipelago. Near Pinnacle Rock, you can also see two beautiful crescent shaped beaches.
This island offers some of the most beautiful landscapes in the archipelago. The island is an extinct volcano and has a variety of red, orange, green, black soils, and bright volcanic formations. After lunch we will practice snorkeling with white tip reef sharks, tropical fish, sea lions and other unique marine species. In addition, in Bartolomé there is a great possibility of observing the Galapagos Penguins. Return to Santa Cruz.
